An experiment in rigidity, flexibility and the sounds in between the sounds, LAMEBOT attempts to shed new light on an old friend; the 4x4 house beat. In this album you will hear typical house beats accompanied by polyrhythmic percussion, off-timed synths and that LAMEBOT bass many are starting to recognize. Most of the songs are in the 127-bpm range and all of them are in a 4/4 time signature. This was an exercise in creating complex soundscapes out of basic elements as well as a showcase of the potential waiting to be exploited in the spaces between standard house rhythms.
